Access to Justice

There is a growing belief among the development and human rights organizations that poverty and other social problems including the violation of human rights are due to of lack access to justice by the most marginalized, vulnerable and victims of the HR violation. Recently UN has promulgated SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) after the completion of MDG (Millennium Development Goals). In this regard DFHRI identifies victims of conflict and natural or human made calamities, minorities, and those groups marginalized on the basis of caste, ethnicity, language, culture and geographic ground as victims of access to justice.

In order to address the problem, DFHRI has taken some initiatives such as:

Advocate for the justice of the victims of decade long armed conflict

Raised the issues of victims of the earthquake of 2015

Facilitation for the justice of the victims suffering violation of human rights
